Creating a Control Panel Layout Part 3

This lesson is the third in a series of 4 lessons on crating a control panel layout in CorelDraw. In our last two lessons we created our speed control dials and our switch lights. In this lesson we will be creating our speed control label.

Create Our Ellipse

We now need to create our dial and numbers. First we need to create a ellipse that is .675 inches in size. The red Box is one place you can enter the size of the ellipse. Note: the lock button (green box) needs to be unchecked if your ellipse is unequal. If it is checked than you get proportional changes in sizes.

Posiiton the Ellipse

We need to place it at the following position using the following values x = 8.454 and the y = 1.255 using the position command.
