In this video we take a logo that is in black and white and has been saved as a JPEG. The problem with a black and white JPEG image is that the software typically anti aliased. What this means is that the image has a light gray edge around the block so that is looks smoother when it is on the screen. The problem is that when we want to engrave it our edge is rough. Thus, it is best to use a black and white TIF. This file was given to me because my customer wondered why they could not ungroup the logo. This is because it is a bitmap not a vector logo.
